About Us

The Church Centre for Evangelism (CFE) started in 1976. We are a self-running church movement, rooted in the community, utilizing local resources, and drawing our resourcefulness from God who called us to serve Him and communities for abundance of life. CFE started with the opening of the first fellowship at Busalamu in Luuka district in the Eastern region of Uganda. CFE’s presence in communities has grown to 80 congregations, which are referred to as Centers.
